The problem
In Paraguay, everyone with a RUC tax ID has to report purchase invoices monthly. People hoard paper receipts in a drawer and dump them on an accountant at the end of the month, who then types each one by hand. One missed invoice is lost VAT; one typo is a rejected filing.
What we built
- 01One big capture button per RUC. The phone optimizes the photo, reads the KuDE QR and the backend extracts date, supplier, invoice number and IVA 10/5/exempt.
- 02Automatic fiscal month assignment, multiple RUCs in one app and family sharing of a single RUC.
- 03Offline capture with background upload, plus intake from the WhatsApp share sheet, email forwarding and PDFs.
- 04A monthly export with the RG 90 file for Marangatu, a spreadsheet, renamed images and a Google Drive folder.
- 05A web panel where accounting firms review and export their clients' packages.
- 06Encrypted on-device storage and a documented set of 44 architecture decision records.
